Either three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the Lord, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the Lord destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.

Now therefore consider what answer I shall return to him that sent me.

So spricht Jehova: Wähle dir! Entweder drei Jahre Hungersnot; oder drei Monate dahingerafft zu werden vor deinen Bedrängern, und daß das Schwert deiner Feinde dich treffe; oder drei Tage das Schwert Jehovas und Pest im Lande, und daß der Engel Jehovas verderbe in allen Grenzen Israels. Und nun siehe zu, was für eine Antwort ich dem zurückbringen soll, der mich gesandt hat.

Escógete, ó tres años de hambre; ó ser por tres meses deshecho delante de tus enemigos, y que la espada de tus adversarios te alcance; ó por tres días la espada de Jehová y pestilencia en la tierra, y que el ángel de Jehová destruya en todo el término de Israel: mira pues qué he de responder al que me ha enviado.

Escolhe-te, ou três anos de fome; ou ser por três meses defeito diante de teus inimigos, e que a espada de teus adversários te alcance; ou por três dias a espada do SENHOR e pestilência na terra, e que o anjo do SENHOR destrua em todo o termo de Israel. Olha, pois, o que responderá ao que me enviou.

ou três anos de escassez, três meses de perseguição por teus inimigos, sendo atacado por suas espadas, ou então, três dias da espada de Yahweh, isto é, uma praga em toda a terra, com o Anjo de Yahweh destruindo toda a terra de Israel'. Agora, decide qual a resposta que levarei àquele que me enviou'".
